Legendary actor Dilip Kumar breathed his last on Wednesday morning at the age of 98. His sudden demise has left everyone in a state of deep shock. The entire film industry has taken to social media to offer their deepest condolences. While many are mourning the sad demise on social media, some celebrities like Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra visited Saira Banu and Dilip’s residence to pay her last respects.

The video has been shared by a popular photographer on his Instagram. It shows Shabana sitting inside her car. The paps can be seen thronging her car to click her pictures. The video also shows Police personnel deployed outside Dilip Kumar’s residence. Dharmendra can be seen greeting the paparazzi with folded hands. 

The late legendary actor will be cremated in Juhu Muslim Cemetery in Santacruz West.

Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Ajay Devgn, Ananya Panday, Kiara Advani, Farhan Akhtar, Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, Raveena Tandon and many others took to social media to pay their respects to the legendary actor.

Big B tweeted, “An institution has gone .. whenever the history of Indian Cinema will be written , it shall always be 'before Dilip Kumar, and after Dilip Kumar' .. My duas for peace of his soul and the strength to the family to bear this loss .. Deeply saddened.” He added, “An epic era has drawn curtains... Never to happen again..”

Not just prominent personalities, ardent fans of Dilip Kumar and netizens have also flooded the microblogging site Twitter with their heartfelt tributes.

For the unversed, Dilip Kumar’s family friend Faisal Farooqui announced the passing of the veteran actor on Dilip’s Twitter handle. He tweeted, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago.  We are from God and to Him we return.  - Faisal Farooqui.”
